Coach's Forum: 3-Legged Race

This pair are off to an ok start for the sack race—but already the person on the left is trailing the one on the right.

It is in the beginning that people usually blow this race by not being in coordination with each other. The pair must be very careful to move their opposite legs out together, left for the person on the left side, right for the person on the right. Makes sense, right? The point is: they need to do it at the same time with an equal step which will make it easy for them to take the next step in the sack together.

However, they are in good position ahead of the horses though the sack is already beginning to trail behind them and could be easily stepped on. It’s here they need to pull the sack up as high as possible. Whether they succeeded or not is questionable from the photo.
